This is the time of year we usually celebrate the anniversary of the founding of GTT in 2014. This is the second year we have put the celebrations on hold but we still celebrate International Biodiversity Day.
The United Nations has proclaimed May 22 The International Day for Biological Diversity (IDB) to increase understanding and awareness of biodiversity issues. When first created by the Second Committee of the UN General Assembly in late 1993, 29 December (the date of entry into force of the Convention of Biological Diversity), was designated The International Day for Biological Diversity.
In December 2000, the UN General Assembly adopted 22 May as IDB, to commemorate the adoption of the text of the Convention on 22 May 1992 by the Nairobi Final Act of the Conference for the Adoption of the Agreed Text of the Convention on Biological Diversity.
We are all part of the solution #ForNature, today and tomorrow and next year and the year after that, not just on anniversaries and special days but EVERY SINGLE DAY 😅
GTT is committed to doing the best possible work #ForNature

We are forever grateful to all of the GTT members and friends around the world for their consistent support and inspiration 🙏💚 keep writing to us as this continues generate new ideas to work in better ways…
