Urban Ecology Project

We had a great virtual meeting with May and Virginia of the Urban Ecology Project, programme director Chris Widmaier and Tom Snyder Director of Programming and Conservation Action from Seneca Park Zoo.

The Urban Ecology Project was started in 2017 in Rochester, New York, USA, in response to the lack of diversity in the field of conservation.

Now conducted in partnership with the City of Rochester Summer of Opportunity program, participants connect with nature, learn important life skills, and make an impact on their communities. Follow @rocurbanecologists on Instagram.
