Volunteer with us

A group of people, mostly women wearing hijabs, sit and stand on rocks in a wooded area with greenery and a red hammock in the background.

Get your hands dirty

Volunteering with GTT has never been about standing at the sidelines. Our members have planted seeds, picked litter, cared for animals, maintained a tortoise garden in all weathers, counted whales from a research boat and raised funds one footstep at a time. Whatever your interests — wildlife, growing things, campaigning, or just being outdoors — there’s a way to muck in.

Who can join in?

Anyone. GTT was founded by a teenager, and young people lead everything we do — but you don’t have to be a teen to take part. Parents, friends and grown-ups are always welcome to help out, and some of our best workshops have been whole families working side by side. No experience needed: curiosity and a bit of enthusiasm will do nicely. If you’re under 18, we’ll just need a parent or guardian’s consent when you sign up.

Four girls stand on grass in front of a painted rock; one holds a book, another holds a "BRANDI POCO" sign, and two are interacting. All wear white T-shirts with colourful prints.

Our impact

Through workshops, summer programs, and community initiatives, we’ve inspired hundreds of young people to become champions for the environment. Our alumni continue to create ripples of positive change in their communities worldwide.
